Nanping city museum holds a collection of his paintings.

He is well known for the paintings of characters and landscapes.

Wu Donghuai holds the nickname "Zhiting" but has signed this painting "Wu Donghuai" only letting us think that this is a second category.

The painters' habit considers indeed that first category paintings should be signed "Zhiting Wu Donghuai", second category ones "Wu Donghuai" and third category ones "Zhiting".
